Pet Safety and Materials

Pet Safety and Materials

Your pet’s safety comes first in everything we make. Here’s what our pieces are made of and how to use them safely.

Our Materials

  • Custom needle felted sculptures: natural wool, plastic eyes and a polymer clay nose. Framed portraits are set in a wood frame.
  • Necklaces: polymer clay, acrylic pearls and rhinestones, with nickel free and lead free plated hardware.
  • Apparel: materials are listed on each product page.
  • Perfume: made for dogs only. Not for cats or other small pets.

Choking and Ingestion Hazards

Clasps, charms and small decorations can be a choking risk, especially for pets who chew.

  • Supervise your pet while they wear jewelry or apparel.
  • Remove accessories before unsupervised play, crate time or sleep.
  • Check clasps, charms and seams regularly.

Sizing for Safety

A necklace or outfit that is too tight is uncomfortable and unsafe. Check our Size Guide before ordering, and recheck fit as your pet grows.

Allergies and Sensitivities

  • Introduce new jewelry or apparel slowly and watch for redness or scratching.
  • Patch test perfume on a small area first.
  • Ask your vet if you have concerns about a material.

Custom Needle Felted Sculptures

Our sculptures are firm display pieces, not toys. Keep them away from children and pets, since eyes and small details can be pulled off.
