How It Works

Every Pawlace Custom Pet Clone starts with a single photo and becomes a soft, lasting keepsake made just for your companion. Here’s exactly what happens from order to delivery.

Step 1: Share a Photo

Choose your clone style — Half Body Frame, Keychain, Auto Hanging, or Head Frame — and upload one clear, front-facing photo of your pet at checkout. A well-lit photo where your pet’s face and markings are clearly visible gives the best result.

Step 2: Approve the Sketch

Within 3 days, our artisans create a design sketch based on your photo and email it to you for approval. This is your chance to request any adjustments before we begin sewing — nothing goes into production until you’ve approved the design.

Step 3: We Craft by Hand

Once approved, your keepsake is cut, stitched, and detailed by hand over 2–3 weeks, depending on the size and style you’ve chosen. Every clone is made individually — no two are exactly alike, just like your pet.

Step 4: Delivered to You

Your finished piece is shipped tracked and insured, along with care instructions and a photo of the finished clone before it leaves our studio.

How Long Does It Take?

From photo upload to delivery, most orders take 2–3 weeks total, depending on the style and current order volume. You’ll receive updates by email at each stage — sketch approval, production start, and shipping confirmation.

What If I’m Not Happy With the Sketch?

Let us know during the approval stage and we’ll revise it together before production begins. Since each piece is made to order, changes after sketch approval may not be possible — so this step is your opportunity to get every detail right.

What Materials Are Used?

Every clone is made with soft, child-and-pet-safe plush fabric and non-toxic, hypoallergenic filling. See our Pet Safety and Materials page for full details.

Can I Order More Than One Style?

Yes — many customers choose a Keychain and a Head Frame from the same photo, or order multiple styles for different pets. Each style is ordered and priced individually.
