This Privacy Policy explains how Pawlace (“we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares your information when you visit pawlaceusa.com or buy from us. If you have questions, email PalaceGuard@pawlaceusa.com.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: name, email address and phone number.
• Order details: shipping and billing address, products purchased and order notes.
• Custom order details: your pet’s name, breed, age, photos and the preferences you choose in our order form.
• Messages: anything you send us by email, contact form or review.
• Account details: username and password, if you create an account.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site.
• This is collected through cookies and similar tools. See Section 6.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe, including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link. We never see or store your full card number.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process, make and ship your order, and send order and shipping updates.
• To create your custom sculpture and send you preview photos for approval.
• To answer your questions and handle returns, exchanges and claims.
• To prevent fraud and keep our site secure.
• To understand how our site is used and improve it.
• To send marketing emails, only if you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

3. Your Pet’s Photos

We use the photos you upload only to create and review your piece. We never use your photos or your finished piece in our marketing without your permission.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share information only with companies that help us run our store, and only what they need:

• Payment processing: Stripe.
• Shipping: USPS, UPS and FedEx.
• Website hosting and store software: our web host, WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Site analytics: WordPress.com (Jetpack) statistics.
• Reviews: if you choose to be invited to review your order at checkout, our review service receives your name, email and order details.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect our rights, customers or business.
• Business transfer: if our business is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep your information as long as needed to complete your order, provide support, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Then we delete or anonymize it.

6. Cookies

• Essential cookies: keep your cart, checkout and account working.
• Analytics cookies: show us which pages are visited and how visitors found us.
• Payment cookies: help Stripe prevent fraud.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but checkout may not work without essential cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: our site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong.
• Delete your information, unless we must keep it by law.
• Stop sending you marketing emails.

Email PalaceGuard@pawlaceusa.com with your request. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

8. California Residents

If you live in California, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use and share.
• Delete your personal information.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. See Do Not Sell My Info.
• Not be treated differently for using these rights.

In the last 12 months, we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email and IP address), customer records (such as address and phone), purchase history, internet activity (such as pages viewed), approximate location, and photos you upload. We collected them from you, your device and our payment processor, for the purposes in Section 2, and shared them only as described in Section 4. We do not collect sensitive personal information to infer anything about you.

To make a request, email PalaceGuard@pawlaceusa.com. You may use an authorized agent. We will respond within 45 days.

Under California’s Shine the Light law, you may also ask whether we shared your information with third parties for their own marketing. We do not.

9. Other US States

If your state gives you similar privacy rights, you can use them the same way by emailing us. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision.

10. Children

Our site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use secure checkout and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website is 100% secure, so please keep your account password private.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
